Focus is an art project by Mattia Donati that invites watch enthusiasts into a deeper, more personal connection with timepieces. Rooted in years of close collaboration with watchmakers, collectors, and maisons, the project reflects a deep reverence for mechanical craftsmanship and the personal stories timepieces carry.

Through photography, the artist captures the essence

In Focus, the images go beyond documenting technical precision–they seek to evoke the inner world of horology lovers.
